I fell in love with this teacup the moment I set my blurry eyes on it :)!<br /><br />It has wonderful hand painted details and the cup and saucer themselves, are a unique shape. there is a teenie tiny chip on the lip of the cup, you can hardly see it, add character :) The bottom has been marked, says it&#39;s occupied japan and hand painted. The cup and saucer have been glued together for stability.<br /><br />I tightly needle felted a pin cushion and placed it inside. I love the color of this roving, it is a funky orange and dark pink mix. I think it goes well with the over all feel of this piece. I also made a couple sweet flower pins to add to it&#39;s quirky charm.<br /><br />measurements are almost 5 inches across and 3 1/2 inches tall.<br /><br />Thanks for looking! take a peek at the others too if you have time.<br />');

I found this vintage planter in a sweet little antique shop in Iowa, It practically jumped into my hands, how could I say no to this adorable planter :)<br /><br />I needle felted lovely, yellow wool roving into a firm pin cushion and placed into the planter and added a few of my flower pins. The planter has a small chip on the rim of the opening but you cant really see it, unless you look for it, there are no cracks but some wear marks, I&#39;m pretty sure it is a piece from mid century, so there will always be some type of wear on pieces this old. I happen to love little flaws, just gives it more character :D<br /><br />Measurements are 5 1/2 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches deep.<br />Thank you for taking a look at this pin cushion. She will serve tea and blueberry muffins and of course honey for the teddy bears. See that far away look in Vivians big blue eyes,she is dreaming right now!<br /> I made Vivian with love and detailed labor, a labor of love if you will. She is made out of wool roving using a process called needle felting. I painted some vintage feed sack material with acrylic paint, cut out my own little skirt and designed her sweet little dress. It&#39;s hand gathered and sewn, I also hand gathered the velvet ribbon for the trim of Vivians dress and put velvet ribbon in her hair too. :)<br /> Teddy has vintage sequin eyes and a sweet bead nose!<br />Her base is made out of a old thread spool and jar lid. I painted them and diamond glazed old pieces of  dictionary pages I thought would pertain to Vivian, to the base. Her eyes are detailed with watch gears. I needle felted a brilliant turquoise pincushion to complement the small amounts of turquoise in the design. I also added some really fun decorative pins I have made, for some added charm. As always I didn&#39;t glue the pin cushion in, so the vintage piece can be restored back to it&#39;s intended use, if that&#39;s what you choose to do.<br /><br />Thank you for taking a look at this pin cushion. I found this funny vintage chick with cracked egg planter at one of my favorite antique shops. It was too hard to resist. I just had to create a fun needle felted pin cushion to place inside this cracked egg, I added some polka dots just for the heck of it :D Oh My he&#39;s a real character!<br /><br />Measurements are, 3 1/4 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches deep. I needle felted a tight pincushion out of wonderful bright yellow, orange, purple and red wool roving and added some of my decorative pins.  There are no chips or cracks. I don&#39;t glue the pin cushions into any of the vintage pieces unless absolutely necessary,  so you may return this planter to it&#39;s original state if you like.
